State Senator Team Monthly Visit to Levy County
If you need to speak with your elected State Senator for District 14, here is your chance.
Senator Steve Oelrich will be in Levy County the 9th of June. And is currently scheduled to be in Levy County the second Tuesday of every month according to his E-newsletter Volume IV.
*Walk-ins are welcomed. If you would like to make an appointment during these times, please contact our office at (352) 375-3555
*June 9th, 9AM-12PM
Levy County Courthouse, Bronson
June 9th, 1-4PM
Williston Chamber of Commerce Building
Correction...We have been informed by Senator Oelrich's office:
"Thank you for putting the information about Senator Oelrich’s office hours on your website. Unfortunately, I must offer a correction to the post. The office hours are for Senator Oelrich’s legislative staff to answer any questions or handle any casework that constituents in Levy county may have. Since we are located in Alachua, it is easier for us just to travel to our other seven counties and conduct business. Senator Oelrich may or may not attend, depending on his schedule. More information will be published in the local papers prior to the meetings."

Jeb Bush Jr endorses Marco Rubio
I just received an email from Jeb Bush Jr....saying...
"Dear Michelle,
Today I would like to let you know that I will be enthusiastically supporting my friend Marco Rubio for his bid for the United States Senate.
Florida and our country are at a crossroads. Not only in our economic life, but in who we are as Republicans.
My choice was a simple one: Marco Rubio represents the best in what our Party should strive to be and who it must engage – he is young, conservative, and believes in the principles of our Founding Fathers, that individual freedom and liberty are what makes our country great and always will.
Marco Rubio is a candidate who can help to bring our Party back on track by reaching out to our youth, entrepreneurs, Hispanics and those who believe that if you work hard enough, anything you dream can be achieved. With Marco, we have a great opportunity to elect a true conservative and a greater obligation to elect a man of principle.
I hope that you will join with me in this exciting journey to elect my friend Marco Rubio to the United States Senate in 2010. If you can make a donation today to keep this effort going it will go a long way to bring back common sense and a return to conservative principles in Washington.
I thank you for your time and consideration.
With warm regards,
Jeb Bush, Jr."

Veterans who missed getting their Diplomas because they served our Country
May 20th Governor Crist signed into law Florida Senate Bill 316 according to the Miami Herald. Let us know if you know anyone that did not get their Diploma because they went to serve their country. We are researching it further for two of our volunteers. We have emails out to Congressman Stearns and Congresswoman Ginny Brown-Waite.
